Here, we take a look at three moments from the India vs Bangladesh match that generated buzz among the fans.
#1 Hardik Pandya's blistering knock and celebration
Talismanic all-rounder Hardik Pandya once again stepped up to deliver an impactful performance under pressure. He stole the show with his quick-fire unbeaten half-century, taking the Bangladeshi bowlers to the cleaners.
The right-handed batter struck three sixes and four boundaries. He hit three fours in the final over, helping India finish their innings with a flurry. He completed his half-century by sending the ball racing to the third-man fence on the last ball of the 20th over.
The 30-year-old celebrated his fifty with a shrug of shoulders reaction. It was similar to the one he did after claiming Shadab Khan's wicket in India's group-stage match against Pakistan.
#2 Tanzim Hasan Sakib's fiery send-off to Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli looked in fine touch against Bangladesh, hitting three sixes and a solitary boundary during his 37-run knock. While he looked set for a big score, his promising innings came to a premature end in the ninth over, courtesy of Tanzim Hasan Sakib.
Tanzim bowled a short of a length delivery, which Kohli tried countering by coming down the track. He was beaten by the lack of pace and the ball crashed onto the stumps.
The Bangladeshi bowler was fired up after taking the prized wicket of Kohli and gave the star batter an aggressive send-off.
#3 Kuldeep Yadav's magical spell to set up dominant win for India
Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav was benched for the group-stage matches in the United States of America (USA). He was, however, added to the lineup in the first two games of the Super 8 stage as the action moved to West Indies.
He was the star performer with the ball against Bangladesh, bamboozling the batters with his crafty bowling. Kuldeep got the better of Tanzid Hasan, Towhid Hridoy and Shakib Al Hasan. It is worth mentioning that Kuldeep bowled 11 dot balls in his spell.
