India vs South Africa 2024, 2nd T20I: Toss result and playing 11s for today’s match, umpires list, and pitch report
Team India are taking on South Africa in the second T20I at St George's Park in Gqeberha. The Men in Blue are 1-0 up in the four-match series, having won the opening T20I at Kingsmead in Durban by 61 runs, putting up a dominant display with both bat and ball.
Sanju Samson played a terrific knock in the first T20I, smashing 107 off only 50 balls with the aid of seven fours and 10 sixes, scoring at a strike rate of over 200. With this knock, he became the first Indian player to hit consecutive tons in T20Is. His opening partner Abhishek Sharma, however, was dismissed cheaply again, while the middle and lower order also failed to provide the end flourish.
With the ball, India did a great job defending a total of 202. Leg-spinners Varun Chakravarthy and Ravi Bishnoi claimed three wickets each, while pacer Avesh Khan picked up two as the Proteas were bowled out for 141 in 17.5 overs. The visitors will look to continue their impressive run on Sunday.

“Again rain around, so that's the most obvious part. Hopefully, we can use some of the moisture that is around.
The Proteas have made one change to their playing XI. Patrick Kruger is out and Reeza Hendricks comes in. India are going in with an unchanged team.
