India vs Sri Lanka, Women's T20 World Cup 2024 Telecast Channel: Where to watch and live streaming details in India
India will be up against Asia Cup champions Sri Lanka in match number 12 of the ICC Women's 2024 T20 World Cup to be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, October 9. The Women in Blue are fourth in the Group A points table and need to win their remaining two games by big margins to harbor hopes of making it to the semifinals of the tournament.
After a horrendous start to their 2024 Women's T20 World Cup campaign, India fought back well to beat arch-rivals Pakistan by six wickets in their previous match. The bowlers led the way as Pakistan were held to 105-8 batting first. Pacer Arundhati Reddy starred with 3-19, while off-spinner Shreyanka Patil was also impressive with figures of 2-12.
India's batting, though, is yet to come to the party. Vice-captain Smriti Mandhana has been dismissed cheaply in both games. Shafali Verma scored 32 against Pakistan, but the knock was not a fluent one. Jemimah Rodrigues and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur did well with their 20s, but the Women in Blue will need a much more clinical effort against Sri Lanka.
