India vs Zimbabwe 2024, 5th T20I: Toss result and playing XIs for today's match, umpires list and pitch report
India will take on Zimbabwe in the fifth and final T20I of the series at the Harare Sports Club on Sunday, July 14. The Men in Blue have taken an unassailable 3-1 in lead in the series. After being stunned in the opening T20I, they have won three games in a row.
In the fourth T20I on Saturday, the visitors were completely dominant on Zimbabwe and thumped them by 10 wickets. Bowling first after winning the toss, India held Zimbabwe to 152-7. Khaleel Ahmed claimed 2-32, while debutant Tushar Deshpande, Washington Sundar, Abhishek Sharma, and Shivam Dube all claimed one wicket each.
Team India were brilliant in the chase as their openers romped home in 15.2 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal hammered an unbeaten 93 off 53, slamming 13 fours and two sixes, while Shubman Gill scored a steady half-century remaining unbeaten on 58 off 39 balls.

It’s the same pitch as the 4th T20I. According to Abhinav Mukund, it still remains a belter. He added that if batters get width, they can take full advantage of it. The pitch looks quite hard to him, with very few footmarks.
Mukund said that he had a conversation with Yashasvi Jaiswal and the opener stated that the new ball comes onto the bat and, as it gets older, it holds a bit. 150 is definitely not enough, Mukund concluded.
