Indian all-rounder Shivam Dube is gearing up to represent the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise in the upcoming IPL 2022. CSK signed the talented southpaw at the mega-auction after fending off competition from Punjab Kings, Lucknow Super Giants, and Rajasthan Royals.

Shivam Dube has previously represented Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL. The 28-year-old is yet to do justice to his talent in the league as he has a not-so-impressive record so far. Across 24 games, Dube could muster only 399 runs at an average of 22.17, including a solitary fifty.

He will be looking to turn things around at CSK this year by performing up to his potential under the leadership of legendary skipper MS Dhoni.

Ahead of the IPL, the Chennai franchise gave fans a glimpse of Shivam Dube in their training camp and revealed that he is gearing up for the season. CSK shared the following post on Instagram and captioned it:

"Breaking News: Shivam all geared up! 🦁 #WhistlePodu #Yellove 💛"
