IPL 2023 weather update: Mumbai weather report on May 21 for today's MI vs SRH clash
An uninterrupted game beckons fans when the Mumbai Indians (MI) host the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in an all-important clash at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday, May 21.
While SRH have already been ruled out of IPL 2023, it is a must-win game for Mumbai. MI will have to beat the bottom-placed SunRisers and wait for the result of the last league game between the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Gujarat Titans (GT) to see if they will progress to the playoffs. However, a top-two finish is already ruled out for the Mumbai-based franchise.
MI's playoff chances took a beating after their loss in the last away game against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). However, a return to Wankhede, where they have won their last three games will certainly be a confidence booster.
SRH, on the other hand, will look to end their campaign on a winning note. It hasn't been a good season for them under new captain Aiden Markram. However, they will look to try out some fringe players as they look to build a strong team for next season.
