The IPL 2025 auction is all set to take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and November 25. Five hundred and seventy-seven players have been shortlisted to go under the hammer during the two-day mega auction. While the initial list featured 574 players, Jofra Archer, Saurabh Netravalkar, and Hardik Tamore have been added to the final list for the auction.
If we look at the break-up of players finalized for the IPL 2025 auction, 367 are Indians and 210 are overseas, of which four are from associate nations. The list includes 319 Indian uncapped cricketers and 12 uncapped overseas players. Further, 48 capped Indian cricketers and 194 capped overseas players are on the final list for the IPL 2025 auction.
A total of 204 slots will be up for grabs at the mega auction in Jeddah, with 70 available slots for overseas players. Cricketers have listed names in eight price brackets, with ₹2 crore being the highest and ₹30 lakh being the lowest.

Each franchise can have a minimum of 18 players and a maximum of 25 players in their squad, with a maximum of eight overseas players allowed. All the teams have been given a purse of ₹120 crore to build their squads for the IPL 2025 season. Following retentions, Punjab Kings (PBKS) will go into the auction with the highest purse of ₹110.5 crore, while Rajasthan Royals have the lowest - ₹41 crore.
