"It's time for RETIREMENT" - Fans react as Rohit Sharma falls for single-digit score again in IND vs BAN 2024 1st Test
India captain Rohit Sharma failed to deliver once again with the bat against Bangladesh in the first of the two Tests at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Day 2 (Friday, September 20). The right-handed batter walked back for just five runs off seven balls as the hosts lost their first wicket for just 15 runs.
Rohit was caught by Zakir Hasan at third slip in the third over during India's second innings. Taskin Ahmed bowled short of a length ball that straightened after pitching. The line of the ball delivery pushed Rohit into the shot but the right-handed batter was squared up.
