"Japji Sahib da paath karke jaayida" - Harpreet Brar's hilarious response on being asked how he plans for Glenn Maxwell

Punjab Kings' (PBKS) left-arm spinner Harpreet Brar recently conducted a live session on his official Instagram handle, where he answered questions from his fans.

One of the fans asked Brar about the type of delivery he practices to get the better of Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) batter Glenn Maxwell. The 28-year-old hilariously replied that he just prays before he's up against the swashbuckling batter.

The fan asked:

"Bhaaji tusin Maxwell nu out karan lai kehdi ball di tyaari karde ho (Brother, what ball do you practice to dismiss Glenn Maxwell)?"

Brar replied:

"Japji Sahib da paath karke jaayida (I go after doing Japhi Sahib path)."

It is worth mentioning that Glenn Maxwell was bowled out by Harpreet Brar during RCB's home encounter against PBKS in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) season.

The crafty spinner has an impressive record against the Australian star. Brar has dismissed Maxwell four times in five innings while conceding just 18 runs from 17 balls.

They suffered a heartbreaking three-wicket loss to Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their previous contest on April 13. PBKS failed to defend a 148-run target. It was a thrilling clash, with RR requiring 10 runs to win in the final over. Arshdeep Singh failed to do the job under pressure. Shimron Hetmyer hit two sixes in the 20th over to seal the game for his team.
