"Just melts my heart"- Jasprit Bumrah reacts to son Angad calling a picture book animal ‘dadda’
Team India pacer Jasprit Bumrah took to Instagram to share a story of his son Angad looking at a storybook character and calling it 'dadaa'. The 30-year-old shared the story on Tuesday, September 24.
Bumrah tied the knot with television presenter Sanjana Ganesan in March 2021. The couple was blessed with Angad in September 2023. Bumrah took to his official account on Instagram and reshared the story put out by his wife. The story read:
"missing @jaspritb1 so much that even the gruffalo starts to look like dadda 🥲💚"
Resharing that story, Bumrah added:
"Just melts my heart❤️❤️❤️🤗"

Jasprit Bumrah starred in the IND vs BAN 1st Test
Jasprit Bumrah spearheaded the three-man pace attack for Team India in the first Test against Bangladesh. Playing for Team India after a break, he starred with the ball in the first innings, picking up four wickets. The 30-year-old dismissed Shadman Islam with a peach of a delivery before getting rid of Mushfiqur Rahim, Hasan Mahmud, and Taskin Ahmed, finishing with figures of 4/50 after 11 overs.
In the second innings, Bumrah only bowled 10 overs and picked up the solitary wicket of Zakir Hasan as Ravichandran Ashwin (6/88) and Ravindra Jadeja (3/58) shared nine wickets between them. The visitors were bowled out for 234 as India won the match by 280 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the two-match Test series.
The same Indian squad has been retained for the second Test against Bangladesh and it is to be seen whether the pacer will be starting in this Test. Team India's second Test against Bangladesh will be played at the Green Park Stadium, Kanpur from Friday, September 27.
