"Justice for Babar"- Top 10 funny memes after Pakistan's historic ODI series win vs Australia 2024
Pakistan beat Australia comfortably by eight wickets in the third ODI on Sunday (November 10) at the Perth Stadium. With this, they scripted history by winning an ODI series in Australia for the first time since 2002.
Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan won the toss and opted to bowl first in the series decider. Pacers Shaheen Afridi (3/32), Naseem Shah (3/54), and Haris Rauf (2/24) bowled magnificently to bundle out the reigning world champions for 140 in just 31.5 overs. None of Australia's frontline batters crossed even the 25-run mark. Bowling all-rounder Sean Abbott top-socred for them, with 30 (41) in the lower order.
After their 137-run stand in the previous match, Saim Ayub (42) and Abdullah Shafique (37) once again gave the visitors a good start, scoring 82 runs for the first wicket in 17 overs. Lance Morris dismissed the duo in the 18th over, but it was too late for Australia by then. Babar Azam (28*) and Mohammad Rizwan (30*) finished the formalities, taking their side home in the 27th over.
Fans enjoyed the lop-sided third ODI between Australia and Pakistan. They expressed their reactions to the contest by sharing memes on X and Instagram. One fan wrote:
"10 wickets for Haris Rauf in this series...Justice for Babar."
