Samson entertained the viewers with his strokeplay, hitting eight sixes and 11 fours during his stay at the crease. The stumper crossed the 100-run mark in 40 balls, becoming the second-fastest T20I centurion for India.

Many cricketers and former cricketers also lavished praise on Samson.

Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav's knocks helped India register the second-highest team total in T20Is
The ongoing third T20I is a dead rubber, given that India have already pocketed the series by claiming an unassailable 2-0 lead. The Men in Blue won the toss and chose to bat first in the dead rubber.
While Bangladesh claimed an early breakthrough by dismissing opener Abhishek Sharma early, there was no respite for them post that. Samson and skipper Suryakumar Yadav took the bowlers to the cleaners, stitching together a massive 173-run partnership in just 70 balls.
Suryakumar scored 75 runs off 35 deliveries, while Hardik Pandya and Riyan Parag chipped in with quick-fire knocks of 47 and 34, respectively. India ultimately finished at 297/6 after 20 overs, registering the second-highest team total in T20I history.
