"Karwa li bezzati" - Fans roast Ahmed Shehzad for his wishful tweet as Australia thrash Pakistan by 29 runs in 1st T20I
Pakistan cricketer Ahmed Shehzad expressed his disappointment at the extended rain break during the first T20I of the three-match series between the Men in Green and Australia at the Gabba on Thursday, November 14. Fresh from a 2-1 ODI series win over Australia, Shehzad wished to see his national men's team continue their dominance and win the first game in pursuit of a clean sweep.
Ahmed Shehzad wrote on X:
“Rain Rain go away, come again another day we wanna Whitewash Aussies in Gabba all the way.”
Unfortunately for Pakistan and Shahzad, things didn’t pan out like they wished as Australia won the 7-over per side match by 29 runs. Chasing 94, the visitors could only manage 64/9.
