"Leaves the bazball nonsense to other batters" - Fans laud Joe Root for his century in ENG vs WI 2nd Test

Joe Root starred with the bat in the second innings for England against West Indies (WI) on Day 4 of the ongoing second Test at Trent Bridge in Nottingham on Sunday, July 21. The right-hander hit a boundary to get to his century off 158 balls, comprising seven boundaries.

It was also his sixth Test ton against the Windies, joint most by England alongside Colin Cowdrey, Alan Lamb, Andrew Strauss, and Alastair Cook.

During his knock, Root also shared a 189-run partnership with another England centurion Harry Brook for the fourth wicket.
