"Loving the expressions" - Devisha Shetty reacts to husband Suryakumar Yadav's bowling in 3rd IND vs SL T20I
Team India's T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav showcased his bowling skills in the third and final match against Sri Lanka at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, July 30. Sri Lanka required six off the last over with four wickets in hand.
While pacer Mohammed Siraj seemed the obvious choice to bowl the crucial last over, Suryakumar backed himself to do the job. In a surprise move, the swashbuckling batter came to bowl the 20th over and helped his team avoid a defeat.
He dismissed Kamindu Mendis and Maheesh Theekshana while conceding just five runs. With both teams tied at 137, the match went down to the Super Over, where India chased down the three-run target to complete a 3-0 whitewash over the hosts.
Suryakumar took to his Instagram handle on Wednesday, July 31, to share snapshots of his bowling from the third T20I. Reacting to the post, his wife Devisha Shetty commented she loved his expressions.
Devisha wrote:

Afghanistan's ace leg spinner Rashid Khan and India's veteran spinner Piyush Chawla also seemed mighty impressed by Suryakumar's bowling exploits.

"If we put our heart in for one and a half hours, we can pull it off" - Suryakumar Yadav's message to the Indian team during the innings break
Speaking at the post-match presentation after the third T20I, Suryakumar Yadav lauded the Indian bowlers for turning things around after an impressive start provided by Sri Lanka's top-order batters.
Disclosing what he told his teammates during the innings break, Suryakumar said:
"More than the last over, I feel when we were around 30/4 and 48/5, how the boys showed character in the middle and took the game away from them ... I felt 140 was a par score on that track. When we were going in during fielding session I told them, 'I have seen such kind of games. If we put our heart in for one and a half hours, we can pull it off.'"
India and Sri Lanka will now compete in a three-match ODI series, beginning Friday, August 2. Suryakumar Yadav is not part of the squad for the 50-over fixtures, with Rohit Sharma to lead the team.
