Mumbai Indians had a disastrous IPL 2024 season. Their decision to replace Rohit Sharma as captain with all-rounder Hardik Pandya backfired as the franchise finished last in the points table. Mumbai won only four and lost 10 of their 14 matches in the league stage of the competition.
