MS Dhoni and wife Sakshi spotted with a famous Bollywood heroine
Former Indian captain MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Singh Rawat were recently spotted with renowned Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon at an event.
The iconic Ranchi cricketer was last seen on the field during IPL 2024 in May, representing the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He relinquished captaincy after winning the title in 2023 and handed over the reins to Ruturaj Gaikwad with an eye on the future. However, it was not a smooth transition as CSK failed to qualify for the playoffs in IPL 2024.
After playing in the lucrative league during the summer, Dhoni has been spending time with family and attending various public and private events over the past few months. An X user took to the social media platform and shared a picture to give a glimpse of the legendary cricketer's recent appearance alongside his wife Sakshi and actress Kriti Sanon, who was last seen in the Bollywood movie Do Patti.

"I have never seen a leader like him" - LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka on MS Dhoni
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) owner Dr. Sanjiv Goenka recently heaped praise on MS Dhoni's leadership abilities and pointed out his ability to groom youngsters into match-winners by citing the example of Matheesha Pathirana. On the 'TRS Podcast' Sanjiv Goenka expressed his admiration for Dhoni and said:
"You look at MS Dhoni, I have never seen a leader like him. His thinking and way of approach, how a person at his age can reinvent himself. Look at Pathirana, he is a young bowler, Dhoni groomed him to be a lethal matchwinner. He knows how to use his players when and he thinks accordingly."
During the same conversation, Goenka also narrated an anecdote about Dhoni and his grandson, saying:
"Whenever I interact with him, I get to learn something. It was during the Lucknow vs Chennai match. I have an 11-year-old grandson who is crazy about cricket. Dhoni in my home taught him how to play cricket, some 5-6 years ago. He constantly asked him questions and I told my grandson ‘Leave him now’. Dhoni replied ‘Let it be, I am enjoying this conversation."
MS Dhoni played for Goenka's Rising Pune Super Giants franchise in IPL during 2016 and 2017 when CSK were banned from the league.
