"Wicket looked alright, the par would've been 180"- Hardik Pandya after India score 196 in 2024 T20 World Cup clash vs Bangladesh

During the mid-innings break, Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya reflected on the action that unfolded in the first innings and his knock, saying:

"Wicket looked alright, the par would've been 180 and we got 197, it's a good score here. Hopefully with the bowling we have, need to keep it tight and should get the job done. At the time Dube went, couple of wickets were lost and had to take time, did well to recover and he made sure he took against the spinners and we were able to stitch partnerships."

On advice to his bowling mates for the second innings, he continued:

"I'll tell them, not on the TV, things got slower at the end and some balls were sliding down and need discipline to get the job done."
