"We need to come up with better plans in the next game"- GT captain Shubman Gill after loss vs RCB in IPL 2024
At the post-match presentation, GT skipper Shubman Gill reflected on the dismal loss and said:
"It was a great hitting by them, having said that, we need to come up with better plans in the next game, try and execute them. When you are batting, you can always think about 15-20 runs here and there, but at the end of the day what matters is how much have you got after 20 overs."
He continued:
"We thought 200 was good, unfortunately didn't turn out the way we wanted. We didn't pick up wickets in the middle overs, one of our strengths and the defining moment in the game."
Both these teams will square off again this coming Saturday (May 4) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
