India star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has confirmed that he and his wife Natasa Stankovic, a former Bollywood actress, are parting ways, confirming speculation regarding their divorce. Hardik and Natasa shared a combined message on Instagram regarding their relationship status on Thursday, July 18.
In his post, the duo shared their gratitude for their four-year relationship and son Agastya. The 30-year-old cricketer sought privacy during this challenging time.
Notably, Hardik and Natasa got married on May 31, 2020. The couple welcomed their son Agastya on July 30 later that year.
The official statement comes days after Natasa reportedly left for Serbia with Agastya, while MI captain Hardik attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding alone.
Hardik wrote in his Instagram post:
“After 4 years of being together, Natasa and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family."
“We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the centre of both our lives and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness. We sincerely request your support and understanding to give us the privacy during this difficult and sensitive time,” they added.
