The video of Naib seemingly sustaining an injury went viral in no time as it elicited funny reactions from the fans and cricket fraternity.

It all happened in the 12th over when the rain showers erupted at Kingstown, St Vincent on Monday, June 24. The Afghanistan head coach, Jonathan Trott requested the players to slow down the match proceedings, as they were two runs ahead as per DLS. Immediately, Naib was seen falling to the ground clutching his hamstring. However, soon, the rain got heavier, as Naveen along with the physio carried Naib to the dugout.

Interestingly, after the rain stopped, Gulbadin Naib arrived into the bowling attack in the 15th over and dismissed Tanzim Hasan Sakib.

Naveen shared a comic scene from a Bollywood movie, Welcome, where the actor, who fakes a leg injury, comes in clutch at difficult situations for his boss.
