Nepal Premier League 2024: Where to watch and live-streaming details
The Nepal Premier League 2024 is all set to be played from November 30 to December 21. The Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur will serve as the venue for the much-awaited tournament. The competition replaces the Nepal T20 League, which saw its only edition taking place in 2022-23.
Eight teams - Biratnagar Kings, Chitwan Rhinos, Janakpur Bolts, Karnali Yaks, Kathmandu Gurkhas, Lumbini Lions, Pokhara Avengers and Sudurpaschim Royals - will participate in the Nepal Premier League 2024. Sandeep Lamichhane, Kushal Malla, Aasif Sheikh, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Rohit Paudel, Kushal Bhurtel and Dipendra Singh Airee are the captains of the respective sides.
A total of 32 games will be played in the tournament, including the playoffs. Each team will play the other teams once in the league stage. The top four teams will then qualify for the playoffs.
The top two teams will play Qualifier 1, while the third and fourth-placed teams will lock horns in the Eliminator. The loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of the Eliminator will clash in Qualifier 2. Then, the final will take place between the winner of Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2.
The likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Ravi Bopara, Jimmy Neesham and Martin Guptill are the star attractions of the league.
