"Now you know who they will be targeting for 2027" - Fans react to Jofra Archer, Cameron Green missing from IPL Auction 2025 list
Australian all-rounder Cameron Green and England's spearhead Jofra Archer have decided to opt out of the IPL Auction 2025, with their names missing from the players list that was announced today, November 15.
Both Jofra Archer and Cameron Green have been teammates at the IPL level. The two players have represented Mumbai Indians back in 2023. While Jofra Archer had to pull out midway through the tournament, Green was involved in a trade that saw him go to Royal Challengers Bengaluru in order to accommodate ace Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya.
Both players have not registered for the auction. Green has announced that he will not be a part of the upcoming season as he is tending to a fracture, which has seen him out of action in the second half of the year.
Fans on social media were surprised to see the two players missing out on the auction set and put forth their views. Take a look at their reactions:
"Jofra Archer and Cameron Green are not part of the auction. I thought we could get Jofra, but the foreign pacer and Green is also not registered, we will need to get him through the auction next time, very difficult," a user said.

574 players to go under the hammer in the 2025 IPL Auction
A full list of players for the upcoming IPL auction was announced on the IPL official website today, with 574 players expected to go under the hammer. 81 players have registered themselves in the ₹2 crore price bracket in the auction that will take place on November 24 and 25 at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Punjab Kings enter the auction with the highest purse of ₹110.5 crore while Rajasthan Royals enter the auction with ₹41 crore, lowest among the 10 franchises.
