"Oye Hoye vs Moye Moye"- Top 10 funny memes after India's win vs South Africa in 4th T20 2024

Team India registered a comfortable 135-run win against South Africa in the fourth T20I on Friday, November 15, at the Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. Courtesy of the victory, the Men in Blue clinched the four-match series by a 3-1 margin.

India batted first in the contest after winning the toss. They notched up a gigantic total of 283/1 in 20 overs on the back of scintillating centuries from Tilak Varma (120* off 47) and Sanju Samson (109* off 56). Opener Abhishek Sharma also chipped in with a cameo of 36 (18) in the powerplay. All the South African bowlers endured a tough outing due to the carnage of Tilak and Samson.

Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya swung the new ball magnificently and triggered a top-order collapse of the South African batting line-up. The duo reduced the Proteas to 10/4 in three overs to pour water on the host fans' hopes of a record-breaking chase.

It was a formality after that, as South Africa were never in the contest. Tristan Stubbs (43), David Miller (36), and Marco Jansen (29*) scored a few runs and lent some respectability to their team's total. The Proteas eventually bundled for 148 in 18.2 overs.

"We were outplayed in all facets of the game"- South Africa captain Aiden Markram after losing 4th T20I vs India 2024

At the post-match presentation, South Africa skipper Aiden Markram reflected on the loss, saying:

"Ultimately, we were outplayed in all facets of the game. We were fizzed up to level the series but it did not happen. Credit goes to India. They put us under pressure in both the innings from the start. Time for some honest reflections. We have bowled extras. You cannot bowl stump to stump in this format all the time."

He continued:

"You try to bowl towards the wide line and in that you can end up bowling some of them. I suppose as a team we will have a good reflection. We can stuck into some work and come back as better players with better skills. It is upto each individual. Everyone knows what they need to do. Hopefully, we can get to 2026 as a well rounded side. Marco Jansen was a definite positive in the series."
