Star India batter Suryakumar Yadav virtually pulled the leg of his teammate Arshdeep Singh after he gave funny poses with family members while celebrating the World Cup win after the final. Arshdeep was one of the vital cogs for India in their successful 2024 T20 World Cup campaign.

He ended the tournament as the joint-highest wicket-taker along with Fazalhaq Farooqi. The duo picked up 17 wickets across eight games and performed consistently for their teams. Fazal's Afghanistan team crashed out of the tournament in the semi-finals, while Arshdeep Singh helped India clinch the trophy with a magnificent spell of 4-0-20-2 in the final against South Africa.

After beating South Africa in the summit clash, Arshdeep Singh celebrated the memorable triumph with his family members on the ground in Barbados. His family members wore Arshdeep's winning medal and also posed with him for a couple of pictures. The left-arm pacer shared the photos on his Instagram handle to give his fans a glimpse of the celebrations.

Suryakumar Yadav opens up about special qualities of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli after their retirement

During a recent interaction with Indian Express, Suryakumar Yadav was all praise for the man-management skills of his captain, Rohit Sharma. He said:

"He connects with the players. Off the field, be it in a hotel room, or on the beach, he connects with everyone. So when a crunch situation comes, players know that he (Rohit) will back us. One feels I have to deliver for this man for the confidence and respect he gives to everyone.”

Surya then described Virat Kohli as a powerhouse of energy, and continued:

"He is a powerhouse of energy on the ground, irrespective of his performance. If you see, till the final, things didn’t go as he wanted to but the way he carried himself on the field… He was taking part in team get-togethers, practice sessions, everything. He was a leader in his own way."
