"Paise mile ya koi Jati dus mani hai?"- Kuldeep Yadav shuts down troll attacking him for his 2023 World Cup final performance

Team India's Kuldeep Yadav didn't hold back after being targetted by a fan on social media for his wicketless spell in the 2023 ODI World Cup final against Australia. On Tuesday, November 19, exactly a year after the Men in Blue's heartbreaking six-wicket loss in the summit clash, the fan pointed out that Kuldeep hasn't been criticized enough for his bowling exploits in the crucial encounter.

He suggested that while almost all Indian players were slammed on the first anniversary of the 2023 World Cup final, Kuldeep flew under the radar. The fan wrote on the microblogging platform X:

"Sabki pelai ho rhi but Is bkl ko koi kyun nhi pel rha ..."

Kuldeep responded to the tweet by asking the fan if he was being paid to make such statements or if it was a case of personal rivalry. The left-arm spinner replied:

"Hanji kis cheez ki dikkat hai apko , itna pyara likhne ke liye paise mile ya koi Jati dus mani hai?"

Kuldeep Yadav registered figures of 10-0-56-0 in the 2023 World Cup final as India failed to defend a 241-run target. The crafty spinner bagged 15 wickets across 11 games in the showpiece event.

Kuldeep Yadav is not part of India's squad for the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy

Team India are set to compete against Australia in a five-match Test series Down Under. Kuldeep Yadav's name was missing from the squad for the crucial Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

It is worth mentioning that Kuldeep was not dropped from the Test team but was unavailable for selection. In its official release, the BCCI confirmed that the 29-year-old had been referred to the Centre of Excellence for resolution of his chronic groin issue.

Kuldeep was last seen in action during India's three-match home Test series against New Zealand last month. He picked up three wickets across two innings in the opening encounter and was replaced by Washington Sundar in the XI for the remaining two fixtures.
