Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav left a hilarious comment on the latest Instagram post of United States pacer Saurabh Netravalkar. The USA cricketer is currently on paternity leave, missing the League 2 tri-series involving Canada and the Netherlands.

Saurabh Netravalkar, who once represented India in the 2010 Under-19 World Cup, gained recognition due to his brilliant bowling performance in the 2024 T20 World Cup. The US created history by defeating Pakistan via a Super Over and qualifying for the Super-Eights.

The left-arm pacer took seven wickets in six games, including those of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Meanwhile, the 32-year-old remained the leading wicket-taker in Major League Cricket (MLC) 2024. Saurabh took 15 wickets in seven games and played a crucial part in the success of the Washington Freedom.

On Tuesday, August 13, the US pacer posted a video of himself working out on Instagram. He captioned the post:

“First training session amidst paternity break. The sadhana continues.”

The Indian T20I captain, Suryakumar Yadav, has been enjoying his time off from the field with his family in London. The right-handed batter was successful in his first series as a full-time captain.

The Men in Blue defeated the hosts Sri Lanka 3-0 in the T20I series, with Suryakumar Yadav winning the 'Player of the Series' award.

On Tuesday, August 13, in the 20th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 2023–27, Canada won the toss and chose to bowl first. USA opener Smit Patel played a decent hand of 63 off 83 balls. Captain Monank Patel was brilliant; he remained unbeaten on 121 off 95 balls as the USA posted 304 runs in their 50 overs.

In response, at the time of writing, Canada were struggling at 148/7 after 30 overs, needing 157 runs in 20 overs.
