A special flight has been arranged by the BCCI Secretary Jay Shah to airlift the players back to the country. As a special gesture from the BCCI, the media persons will accompany Team India on the same flight back home.

Rohit Sharma, who led India to their 50th T20I win as captain, ended the 11-year drought of an ICC trophy by winning the recently concluded T20 World Cup. The skipper led from the front, scoring 257 runs in eight matches at a strike rate of 156.70, including three half-centuries. He, however, managed just nine runs in the final but stood out as a leader.
Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav was the second-highest run-getter for the Men in Blue. The stylish T20I batter scored 199 runs in eight games, comprising two half-centuries. The right-hander failed to deliver with the bat in the final but took an incredible catch to dismiss David Miller in the last over.
