A picture of Virat Kohli's phone in which an image of Neem Karoli Baba has been set as wallpaper has gone viral on social media. The Indian cricketer is a follower of the spiritual guru.

Kohli was recently part of the victorious Indian team that lifted the 2024 T20 World Cup held in West Indies and United States. While the 35-year-old struggled for most part of the tournament, he lifted his game in the final and top-scored with 76 off 59 balls. He hit six fours and two sixes as the Men in Blue went on to win the thrilling match against South Africa in Barbados by seven runs.

Meanwhile, a wallpaper of Kohli's phone, featuring the image of Neem Karoli Baba has gone viral on social media.

It may be recalled that the former India captain visited the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram during his trip to Nainital in November 2022. The Indian cricketer had decided to take a break after the Men in Blue's exit from the 2022 T20 World Cup in the semifinal stage.

Virat Kohli's candid chat with PM Modi on overcoming poor form in T20 World Cup

Heading into the final of the 2024 T20 World Cup, Kohli had not been in good form, having failed to register a single half-century in the ICC event. In fact, in a candid chat with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the team's recent interaction, the star cricketer admitted that he was not confident ahead of the big game.

"I told Rohit Sharma also, when we walked out to bat (in the final) I was not very confident, but after the first delivery, I told Rohit 'what is this game. One day, you feel you won't even be able to score a run. And another day, you feel like it's all coming together'," Kohli said.
"When wickets fell, I wanted to surrender myself to the team. I was in focus. I was in the zone. After that, I realised that whatever is meant to happen will happen. This (the triumph) was bound to happen for me, and for the team," he went on to add.

Kohli was named the Player of the Match for his knock in the final as India ended their 11-year-old ICC trophy drought with a nail-biting win against South Africa.
