[Picture] Shivam Dube's wife shares photo with MS Dhoni, pens down emotional post
Shivam Dube's wife Anjum Khan wrote an emotional post while sharing a picture with MS Dhoni following the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 game between Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings.
In a picture shared by Anjum, Dhoni could be seen standing between her and Dube. Take a look:
Reacting to the post, Dube tagged Anjum and commented:
"Love you."
For the unversed, Dube has flourished at CSK since joining the franchise last season. The left-handed batter amassed 418 runs in 16 matches at a strike rate of 158.33, including three half-centuries, last year. The performance helped him make a comeback to the Indian team. He represented the Men in Blue at the 2023 Asian Games and a three-match T20I series against Afghanistan earlier this year, where he slammed back-to-back half-centuries.
In IPL 2024, Dube has already scored 245 runs in seven games at a strike rate of 157.05, including two half-centuries. The all-rounder will now be looking to continue his sublime form and stay in the fray for a place in India's squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup. The T20 tournament is scheduled to take place in the United States of America (USA) and the West Indies in June.
MS Dhoni steals the show in Lucknow despite CSK's loss to LSG
MS Dhoni once again stole the show despite CSK losing to LSG in IPL on Saturday. The wicketkeeper-batter once again turned back the clock, scoring an unbeaten 28 runs off just nine balls, including two sixes and three boundaries to help the Super Kings post a fighting score in Lucknow.
Dhoni had earlier smacked 20 runs off four balls against Mumbai Indians, including a hat-trick of sixes against Hardik Pandya at Wankhede. The 42-year-old also slammed an unbeaten 37 off 16, including three sixes and four boundaries against Delhi Capitals.
The former skipper would be keen to continue his sublime form in what is rumored to be his last IPL season.
CSK will next be in action against the same team LSG at MA Chidambaram Stadium on April 23. The defending champions are currently placed third in the points table with four wins in seven games.
