[Picture] Yuvraj Singh shares a throwback photo on Sania Mirza’s birthday, her reaction is gold

Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh wished Sania Mirza, former doubles World No. 1 tennis player, on her 37th birthday (Wednesday, November 15). The all-rounder shared a throwback picture from their 20s on social media along with his wishes. Yuvraj looked dashing in a black T-shirt and blue jeans, while Sania opted for a printed outfit.

Yuvraj tagged Sania and captioned his Instagram post:

“Happy birthday Mirchi mommy. May your celebrations today be loaded with a smash of surprises. Game, set, match to another amazing and blessed year ahead. Lots of love and best wishes always.”

Reacting to the post, Sania replied:

“Thank you motuuuu. what a photo you found.”

For the unversed, the duo share a great friendship since their teenage years. They often indulge in hilarious banters on social media posts.

On Yuvraj’s 40th birthday, Sania tagged him in an Instagram story and wrote:

“Happy birthday Motuuu. 18 years of friendship, and I still have the same confused expression on my face when you talk. Have the most amazing one..”

On the personal front, Sania married former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik in 2010 and welcomed their son Izhaan in 2018. There have been multiple reports of the couple separating earlier this year, although neither has confirmed so far.

Yuvraj, meanwhile, tied the knot with Bollywood actress Hazel Keech in 2016. The couple now have two kids – Orion (boy) and Aura (girl).

On the professional sphere, Yuvraj Singh is a two-time World Cup winner (2007 T20I and 2011 ODI). Meanwhile, Sania Mirza has won six Grand Slam titles across women's doubles and mixed doubles. She recently served as the team mentor of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League (2023).

Yuvraj Singh emerged as the Player of the Series when India won the last edition of the ODI World Cup under MS Dhoni’s captaincy in 2011. The left-handed batter scored 362 runs in eight innings at an average of 90.50, including one century and four half-centuries. The left-arm spinner was equally brilliant with the ball, picking up 15 wickets in nine matches at an economy rate of 5.03.

Team India beat Sri Lanka by six wickets in the final at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The iconic venue is currently hosting the 2023 World Cup semifinal between India and New Zealand.
