[Pictures] “The results of the famous haircut” - Wasim Akram shares pictures of his cat after PKR 1.5 lakh haircut in Australia
Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram has shared before and after pictures of his cat following the AUD 822 haircut. This came after the story went viral following his revelations in the commentary box during the ODI series decider between Australia and Pakistan.
Notably, the fellow commentators were surprised by the massive charge for the cat’s haircut. Akram said on-air before sharing the bill’s receipt:
"I had a cat haircut yesterday. I had to pay 1000 dollars for it. They had to sedate the cat, they had to keep the cat, they had to feed the cat. I said I would have bought 200 cats in Pakistan for that money."
The haircut charge was only AUD 40 but other charges included AUD 105 for medical check-up, AUD 305 for anesthesia, AUD 120 for post-procedure, and AUD 251 for a cardio test for the cat. AUD 822 is roughly INR 45,277.95 and PKR 1,49,331.18, respectively.
