Police complaint filed against Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, and Suresh Raina amid 'Tauba Tauba' reel controversy

Former Indian cricketers Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, and Suresh Raina received backlash for their reel video on the 'Tauba Tauba' song. The clip was posted by Harbhajan on social media to highlight how playing the World Championship of Legends (WCL) took a toll on their ageing bodies.

However, Harbhajan was slammed by many for uploading the video, as they felt that the players made fun of the walking pattern of those with disabilities. A police complaint has also been filed against the three 2011 World Cup-winning members for mocking disabled people.

Executive director of the National Council for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP) Arman Ali lodged a complaint at Amar Colony police station in New Delhi. Meta India has also been named in the complaint for violating the Information Technology Act.

Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, and Suresh Raina were part of the India Champions squad in the recently concluded WCL 2024. The side beat Pakistan Champions by five wickets in the final to clinch the trophy in Birmingham on Saturday, July 13.
