“Pure bond” - Riyan Parag shares a picture on Instagram Stories with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel 

Indian cricketer Riyan Parag shared a photo on Instagram Stories with teammates Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel on Friday, September 6. The trio is participating in the ongoing Duleep Trophy match between India A and India B at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Riyan and Jurel are representing Team A, while Jaiswal is part of Team B. Notably, all three players also play for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). After Day 2 of the match, Riyan posted a picture with them from an auto ride, captioning it:

“Blurry snaps but pure bonds.”

Yashasvi Jaiswal debuted for India last year in both Test and T20 formats. Since then, he has played nine Tests, accumulating 1,028 runs at an average of 68.53, including three centuries. He has also appeared in 23 T20Is, scoring 723 runs and a century.

Wicket-keeper batter Dhruv Jurel made his India debut earlier this year during the Test series against England at home. He scored 190 runs in three Tests, averaging 63.33. Jurel made his T20I debut alongside Riyan Parag in a match against Zimbabwe in July. Parag later made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka.


Riyan Parag looked solid on Day 2 of the Duleep Trophy game

On Day 2, India B was bowled out for 321 runs, with Musheer Khan leading the way with an impressive 181 off 373 balls, which included 16 boundaries and five sixes. Navdeep Saini also made a notable contribution, adding 56 runs. Meanwhile, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 30 off 59 balls. For India A, Akash Deep was the standout bowler, claiming four wickets.

In response, India A openers Mayank Agarwal (36) and Shubman Gill (25) put together a 57-run opening partnership before both were dismissed in quick succession by Navdeep Saini.

At the end of the day's play, India A were 134-2 after 35 overs, with KL Rahul (23*) and Riyan Parag at the crease. Parag, batting at No. 3, looked solid and remained unbeaten on 27 off 49 balls, including four boundaries.
