Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja shared a selfie with his teammates ahead of their departure to Chennai. Chepauk is set to host the first game of the two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh from September 19.

Jadeja can be seen posing for a photo with Kuldeep Yadav, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Akash Deep. The trio recently featured in the first round clash of Duleep Trophy between India A and India B. Kuldeep and Akash played for India A, while Yashasvi represented India B. A

Akash was the finest bowler in the game with nine wickets, while also scoring a fighting 43 in the second innings. Kuldeep could only pick up a solitary wicket throughout the game. Meanwhile, Yashasvi garnered a total of 39 runs in the fixture, which saw his team emerge victorious by 76 runs.

Although Jadeja was initially named in the India B squad for the Duleep Trophy, he withdrew his name due to unspecified reasons.

Ravindra Jadeja last featured for India in T20 World Cup 2024

Ravindra Jadeja was last seen in action during the T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and USA. The southpaw had a disappointing tournament with 35 runs and only a solitary wicket to his name. He could only impress the cricket fraternity with his cameo of 17* off nine against England in the semifinal.

The veteran all-rounder also announced his retirement from the shortest format after India's T20 World Cup title triumph. He garnered 515 runs and scalped 54 wickets in 74 T20I appearances.

Thereafter, Jadeja didn't appear in the three-match series against Sri Lanka, with selectors opting to give chances to youngsters. He will be a key player for the Indian team in the upcoming bilateral Test series against Bangladesh.
