RR Squad IPL 2025: Complete Rajasthan Royals Player List with Prices in INR after IPL 2025 Auction
The Rajasthan Royals (RR) purchased a total of 20 players at the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The inaugural champions made some notable purchases at the event, giving signs of a formidable lineup for the next edition.
RR entered the IPL 2025 auction with a remaining purse of ₹41 crore, the lowest among all franchises. However, they still made the most of the funds by signing England's ace speedster Jofra Archer and Sri Lankan spinners Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana.
Apart from the aforementioned overseas campaigners, they also invested in young Indian talents on the first day of the auction, acquiring the services of Uttarakhand's right-arm pacer Aakash Madhwal and Madhya Pradesh team's left-arm spinner Kumar Kartikeya.
Rajasthan spent a total of ₹23.65 crore on Day 1, with Archer being their most expensive purchase at ₹12.50 crore. The franchise had ₹17.35 crore in its purse and needed to sign a minimum of seven players to complete their squad on the second and final day.
On the second and final day, Rajasthan signed nine players, finishing with a 20-man squad for IPL 2025. RR signed the likes of Indian left-handed batter Nitish Rana and Indian pacer Tushar Deshpande. They spent ₹40.70 crore across the two days and were left with ₹30 lakh.
It is worth mentioning that ahead of the IPL 2025 auction, they had retained six players - Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel, Riyan Parag, Shimron Hetmyer, and Sandeep Sharma. Since they retained the maximum number of players, they didn't have any Right to Match (RTM) cards.
