SA20 2024: Top run-getters and wicket-takers after Paarl Royals vs Pretoria Capitals (Updated) ft. David Miller and Andile Phehlukwayo
Paarl Royals secured a 27-run victory over Pretorial Capitals in the third match of SA20 2024 at Boland Park in Paarl.
After being asked to bat, Paarl Royals posted a total of 160/7 in 20 overs. Opener Jason Roy scored 23 off 16 balls while captain David Miller top-scored with 41 off 33 balls at no.4.
In the death overs, Mitchell Van Buuren (28) and Andile Phehlukwayo (28) propelled their side to a decent score. Daryn Dupavillon and Corbin Bosch took two wickets each while Eathan Bosch, James Neesham, and Will Jacks picked up one wicket apiece.
In the chase, Pretoria Capitals were never in the game as they lost wickets at regular intervals. Opener Phil Salt top-scored with 39. Rilee Rossouw tried his best to revive the innings with 29 off 18 balls but didn't get any support.
Ultimately, the Capitals could post only 133/7 in 20 overs, losing the game by 27 runs. After scoring important runs with the bat, Andile Phehlukwayo shined with the ball as well, picking up two for 29.

Durban's Matthew Breetzke occupies the fourth spot with 39 runs and Pretoria Capitals opener Phil Salt sits in fifth position with the same amount of runs. MICT captain Kieron Pollard slipped from fourth to sixth with 31 runs.
Captails batter Rilee Rossouw (29) secured the seventh position while Paarl all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo (28) is in eighth. Paarl's Mitchell van Buuren holds the ninth spot and MICT all-rounder Liam Livingstone rounds out the top 10.
SA20 2024 Most Wickets List
MICT pacer Kagiso Rabada leads the wicket-taking charts with two wickets, averaging 11.5, while Capitals pacer Daryn Dupavillon is in second position, scalping two wickets at 14.5.
Paarl all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo, meanwhile, is in third place with two wickets at 14.5. Durban all-rounder Keemo Paul slid from second to fourth with two wickets at 15.5 and the Capitals' Corbin Bosch occupies the fifth spot with two wickets at 17.5.
Wihaan Lubbe (1) and James Neesham (1) find themselves in sixth and seventh while Dwaine Pretorious slipped from third to eighth spot with one scalp. Will Jacks (1) and Tabraiz Shamsi (1) hold the ninth and 10th positions, respectively.
