"Sabne jor lagaya ek dum" - Suryakumar Yadav's heartwarming response to Saqib Saleem's meme on sensational catch
Star Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav has reacted to Bollywood actor Saqib Saleem's meme about his sensational catch in the T20 World Cup final. Suryakumar took an absolute blinder on the long-off boundary and sent back David Miller to help the Men in Blue win the T20 World Cup final by seven runs.
Several Instagram reels and memes have been made on Suryakumar's catch and one such meme was shared by Saqib on his Instagram story. The meme showed snippets from India's trophy parade in Mumbai and how it may not have happened had Suryakumar not taken the incredible catch.
Here's what Saqib wrote, hailing Suryakumar Yadav:
"Forever indebted Surya bhau."
While thanking Saqib for his gesture, Suryakumar reiterated that it was not just his catch but a complete team effort that led to India's win. Here's what he wrote on his Instagram story:
"Are saqib bhai 🤣🤗❤️ sabne jor lagaya ek dum 💪🇮🇳🇮🇳💪💪. (Saqib brother it was a complete team effort.)"

Arshdeep Singh had also recently hailed Suryakumar Yadav for his catch
Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh had recently opened up on his perspective on Suryakumar Yadav's catch. Arshdeep watched the drama unfold from the covers and shed light on how incredibly Suryakumar held his balance and kept the ball in play before completing the catch under extreme pressure.
On this, here's what he told The Indian Express:
"My heart was pounding. I was standing at sweeper cover. I got the perfect side-angle view. When Miller connected, I thought it would go the distance but like in a movie it started to dip. The way Surya bhai (Suryakumar Yadav) judged the catch… As he said in the post-match interviews he just wanted to save the six, but then he realised that he had the chance to take that catch."
Hardik Pandya was the bowler who dismissed David Miller and also struck with two other crucial wickets of Heinrich Klaasen and Kagiso Rabada, finishing with figures of 3/20.
