"Salute Sir" - Rishabh Pant congratulates DSP Mohammed Siraj as picture of Indian pacer in police uniform goes viral

Team India wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant took to social media to congratulate Mohammed Siraj for his appointment as the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Telangana Police. The photo of this appointment is doing the rounds online.

Rishabh Pant and Mohammed Siraj share a cordial bond. They have shared the dressing room for Team India on multiple occasions, with both playing an integral role in India's historic win over Australia at the Gabba in 2021. The two were also a part of the squad that won the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup earlier this year.

On Saturday, October 12, Rishabh Pant took to Instagram and posted a story of Siraj in police uniform. He shared the image with the caption:

India will take on New Zealand in the first Test starting October 16. The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will be the host of the first of three matches.
