Sanju Samson once again starred with the bat in the fourth and final T20I between India and South Africa at Johannesburg on Friday, November 15. The right-handed batter smashed an unbeaten 109 runs off 56 balls, comprising nine sixes and six boundaries.
This was Samson's third century in T20Is after registering back-to-back ducks. He had also slammed back-to-back tons against Bangladesh (111) and the Proteas (107) in his last five outings.
Samson is now only behind India's erstwhile T20I skipper Rohit Sharma (five) and reigning captain Suryakumar Yadav (four) for most T20I tons for the Men in Blue.

Varma also stayed unbeaten on 120 off 47 deliveries, a knock laced with 10 sixes and nine boundaries. This was his second consecutive century in the series after 107 not out in the third game. The duo shared an unbeaten 210-run partnership off 14.1 overs.
Meanwhile, Abhishek Sharma provided a flying start for the Men in Blue, hitting 36 off 18, comprising four sixes and two boundaries. Lutho Sipamla took the solitary wicket for the Proteas.
The Suryakumar Yadav-led India is currently leading the four-match series 2-1. They won the opening game by 61 runs before Proteas bounced back with a three-wicket victory in the second. The visitors then won the third game by 11 runs. The Men in Blue will now be keen to win the series after beating Sri Lanka and Bangladesh by 2-1 margins after Yadav became a full-time skipper.
