Sara Tendulkar takes on leadership role as Director at Sachin Tendulkar Foundation

Sara Tendulkar, the daughter of cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, has been appointed the Director of the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation. Sachin announced the news on his social media accounts on Wednesday, December 4. Born in October 1997, Sara is the eldest child of Sachin and his wife, Anjali.

In his post on X, Sachin shared the news and highlighted Sara's educational achievements. He wrote:

“I’m overjoyed to share that my daughter Sara Tendulkar has joined the @STF_India as Director. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition from University College London. As she embarks on this journey to empower India through Sports, healthcare, and education, it serves as a reminder of how global learning can come full circle.”

The Sachin Tendulkar Foundation was founded in September 2019 by cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and his wife, Dr. Anjali Tendulkar, a renowned pediatrician and philanthropist.

The foundation serves as a platform to bring together individuals, organizations, and resources dedicated to fostering social change. Its mission is to ensure equal opportunities for children and work towards building a brighter future for them.


Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun gets sold to Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2025 mega auction

Arjun Tendulkar, son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, was acquired by Mumbai Indians for ₹30 lakh in the IPL 2025 mega auction. This is the same franchise where he started his IPL career and has been a part of since then.

Arjun debuted in the IPL in the 2023 season, taking three wickets in four matches. However, he featured in just one game during the 2024 season and will rejoin Mumbai Indians for the 2025 edition.

At 25 years old, Arjun has played 24 T20 matches, taking 27 wickets. He has also appeared in 17 first-class games, where he has claimed 37 wickets, including a five-wicket haul, and scored 532 runs, which includes two half-centuries and a century. Additionally, Arjun has taken 21 wickets in 15 List-A matches.
