Jasprit Bumrah, in an old interview with MI, shared that Pele’s biography is his favorite movie. He said:

“My favorite movie is, ‘Pele: Birth of a Legend.’”

Pele was a professional Brazilian footballer, widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. He won FIFA World Cups in 1958, 1962 and 1970 with his national side.

Speaking of Bumrah, the speedster played a big role in helping India lift the 2024 T20 World Cup trophy. The 30-year-old also emerged as the Player of the Tournament with 15 scalps at a stunning economy rate of 4.17. He returned with figures of 2/18 against South Africa in the final, giving away just six runs in his final two overs when the Proteas required run-a-ball 30 with six wickets in hand.

Jasprit Bumrah has been rested for the upcoming three T20Is and as many ODIs for India’s tour of Sri Lanka, which starts on July 27. The ace pacer might next play in a two-match Test series in Bangladesh in September.
