South Africa Super 8 schedule 2024 T20 World Cup: Complete South Africa match list, dates, venues and timings in IST
South Africa topped Group D of the ICC Men's 2024 T20 World Cup, winning all four of their matches. The Proteas ended the group stage with eight points and a net run rate of +0.470 to qualify for the Super 8 round of the 2024 T20 World Cup.
South Africa had their anxious moments in all four group games but eventually held their nerves to emerge triumphant. In their first match, South Africa beat Sri Lanka by six wickets at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, chasing down a target of 78 in 16.2 overs.
In their second match, also played in New York, the Proteas crumbled to 12-4 in a chase of 104 against Netherlands. David Miller, though, struck 59* to guide them to a four-wicket win.
South Africa then defended a score of 113 against Bangladesh, winning by four runs. They ended their group campaign with a nervous one-run win over Nepal in St Vincent.
South Africa's full Super 8 schedule for T20 World Cup 2024
South Africa have been placed in Group 2 for the Super 8 round of the 2024 T20 World Cup. They kick off their campaign against United States at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua on Wednesday, June 19.
The Proteas' second clash in the Super 8 will be against England at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia on June 21. South Africa's third and final Super 8 match will be against the West Indies in North Sound, Antigua on June 24.

June 21: South Africa vs England, Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia (8 p.m. IST)
June 24: South Africa vs West Indies, Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua (6 a.m.)
South Africa have never won the 50-over or the T20 World Cup, although they have come close on a few occasions. They will be desperate to break the jinx this time in the West Indies.
Coming back to the Super 8 round, the top two sides from Group 1 and Group 2 will progress to the semifinals of the 2024 T20 World Cup.
The first semifinal will be played at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad on June 27, while the second semifinal will be held in Guyana on the same date. The final will be played on June 29 at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.
