SRH Squad IPL 2025: Complete SunRisers Hyderabad Player List with Prices in INR after IPL 2025 Auction
The SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) signed a total of 20 players in the two-day Indian Premier League (IPL) auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The franchise entered the event with a remaining purse of ₹45 crore, the joint least alongside the Mumbai Indians (MI).
Hyderabad were proactive on Day 1 of the IPL 2025 auction, making some notable signings. Their most expensive purchase was Indian wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan, who they roped in for ₹11.25 crore.
SRH acquired the services of veteran Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami and former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) pacer Simarjeet Singh who represents Delhi in domestic cricket. The franchise also added two leg spinners to their lineup, bringing in Australia's Adam Zampa and India's Rahul Chahar.
In the all-rounders' department, Hyderabad purchased Indian-capped player Harshal Patel, the two-time Purple Cap winner - 2021 and 2024. Indian uncapped players Abhinav Manohar and Atharva Taide were the two batters purchased by Hyderabad in the IPL 2025 auction on Sunday. The team spent ₹39.85 crore.
The 2016 champions also made some notable signings on the second and final day, roping in the likes of Sri Lankan pacer Eshan Malinga and experienced Indian seamer Jaydev Unadkat. It is worth mentioning that SRH spent ₹44.80 crore at the two-day event and were left with ₹20 lakh.
Ahead of the IPL 2025 auction, Hyderabad retained Heinrich Klaasen, Pat Cummins, Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, and Nitish Kumar Reddy.
