"Even 180 wouldn't have been enough"- Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza after clinical loss vs India in 4th T20I
At the post-match presentation, Zimbabwe skipper Sikandar Raza reflected on the dismal loss, saying:
"The wicket was on the slower side at the start, it was a bit damp, we made our plan and thought 160 was par, but the way they batted, even 180 wouldn't have been enough.
"Bowling could've come to the party with the fielding, in short of space we can be a competitive team. The last two overs when they bowled, even though the last five overs went for 50 plus, we could've got eight more runs there, but the wicket didn't allow us."
Raza continued:
"We can dissect the game anyway we want, they batted really well and outplayed us completely. The wicket is slightly on the slower side, I thought the heavy roller did the trick for them, initially thought it would be flat, but thought it would get slower but it became an easy wicket. Hopefully better performance, all three departments firing and we can finish the series on a high with a win."
The two teams will square off in the fifth and final T20I of the series on Sunday (July 14) at the same venue.
