"Sun, Fun & Cricket" - Rishabh Pant posts a video ahead of the IND vs NZ 2024 Test series

Indian wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant posted a video of what he did in a practice session today, October 14, on social media. Pant is a part of the Team India squad for the New Zealand Test series.

Returning after a hiatus of a year, Pant showed that nothing has changed since he last played competitive cricket, with the wicketkeeper-batter managing 446 runs in 13 balls. He enjoyed a great 2024 ICC Mens World Cup, scoring 171 runs in eight innings as Team India won the tournament for the second time.

On Monday, Pant posted a video on his official Instagram account, with the clip featuring Yashasvi Jaiswal and the throw-down specialist. He played a few pleasing shots in his net sessions and looked in good touch.

Rishabh Pant will be in action behind the sticks for Team India in the IND vs NZ 2024 Test series

Rishabh Pant was in good form in the last series against Bangladesh. He put on a show with the bat in hand, scoring 161 runs in two matches. The highlight of his performance came in the second innings of the first game, where he scored his first hundred on his return.

Pant also looked in good nick behind the stumps and took two catches whilst also assisting in setting fields. He was rested for the T20 series against Bangladesh which Team India won without breaking a sweat, completing a 3-0 series sweep.

Team India takes on New Zealand in a three-match Test series, which starts on October 16 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The second Test will be played from October 24-28 in Pune, with the last game to be played at Wankhede Stadium from November 1.
