The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024 witnessed a total of 18 games being played across the country on Tuesday, December 3.
Group A is interestingly stacked, with Rajasthan, Bengal, and Madhya Pradesh having five wins each in six appearances. The top two teams in the group will have a chance to qualify for the knockouts.
Group B also has tough competition between the top three teams. Saurashtra, Gujarat, and Baroda have been impressive with five victories each in six games. In Group C, Jharkhand and Delhi have five wins in six games, while Uttar Pradesh have also done well to taste victories on four occasions.

Tilak Varma added 46 to his tally in the sixth round against Madhya Pradesh to maintain his top spot with 327 runs in six innings at a strike rate of 169.43.
Bihar batter Sakibul Gani slammed 79 against Bengal on Tuesday to climb to the second position with 326 runs in six appearances. Harvik Desai is third with 305 runs at a strike rate of 158.03.
Karan Lal played a stunning knock of 94* against Bihar to climb to the fourth position with 295 runs. Meanwhile, Urvil Patel slammed his second ton of the tournament (115* against Uttarakhand) and is fifth on the list with 282 runs.
Mohit Jangra (269), Shreyas Iyer (253), Rajat Patidar (253), Rohan Kunnummal (234), and Swastik Samal (237) round off the top 10 batters of the competition.
Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024 Most Wickets
Shreyas Gopal was sensational on Tuesday to claim a hat-trick against Baroda and finish with figures of 4/19. He has been the best bowler of the tournament with 14 scalps in six games. Mukesh Choudhary is second on the list with 13 scalps in five games, while Kuma Kartikeya also has the same wicket tally in six appearances.
Abid Mushtaq, Jagjit Singh, KV Sasikanth, and Darshan Nalkande take the subsequent positions with 12 wickets apiece. Harshal Patel, Arzan Nagwaswalla, and Mohit Awasthi hold the eighth, ninth, and 10th positions, respectively, with 11 wickets each.
