Team India to host New Zealand and England in 2024-25 season as BCCI announces international home schedule
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the team’s fixtures for the upcoming international 2024-25 home season. Rohit Sharma & co. are currently a part of the T20 World Cup 2024’s Super 8 stage taking place in the West Indies.

Upon the conclusion of the Bangladesh T20Is on October 12, 2024, India will host New Zealand from October 20 onwards for a three-match Test series. The red-ball games will go on till November 5, as per the schedule.
Upon the conclusion of the subsequent Border Gavaskar Trophy in Australia, the Men in Blue will return home to host England after taking some time off. India and England will lock horns in a five-match T20I series starting January 22, 2025, followed by three ODIs starting February 6, 2025.

Rohit Sharma and his men ply their trade at T20 World Cup 2024
Rohit Sharma-led Team India are currently in the West Indies, set to kick off their Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup 2024 against Afghanistan. India topped their group in the previous stage of the tournament, remaining unbeaten, and made their way to the next level.
After the game against Afghanistan on Thursday, June 20, India will face neighbors Bangladesh on Saturday, June 22. The Men in Blue will play their last match of the Super 8 stage on Monday, June 24, against Australia.
Having missed a spot in the final in the tournament’s previous edition, Team India would be hopeful of crossing the semi-final stage this time and breaking their 11-year-long ICC trophy drought. Notably, India haven’t lifted an ICC title since the 2013 Champions Trophy.
