Another WI player Sunil Narine is placed third in the highest wicket-taker’s list with 557 scalps in 519 games. South Africa’s Imran Tahir (502) and former Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan (492) complete the top five.

Notably, Rashid plays several T20 leagues around the world, including the Indian Premier League (IPL), Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Big Bash League (BBL), SA20, ILT20, Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), Pakistan Super League (PSL) and others. “It’s more about making things harder and harder for the batter” – Rashid Khan

Rashid Khan in a recent interview revealed that he loves challenges, especially against the batters who try to dominate him. He told The Cricket Monthly:

“For me, it's about how do I make it harder for them to go after me. I think I made it easier for them because I did not know they were going to come this hard against me. But in the next games, if I'm facing the batter again, I know what his mindset is, what he's going to do.
"If someone is going after me, I'm going to make it super hard for him. If he still hits it, it's a good shot. But I won't ease down [on creating the pressure]. It's more about making things harder and harder for the batter. And that's something I need to think about in future,” he added.

Rashid Khan will next be in action against Birmingham Phoenix in Nottingham on July 31.
