Lucky enough to have stayed injury-free throughout my career: James Anderson

Several former cricketers and cricket experts have hailed James Anderson for his longevity having played Test cricket for more than 21 years. Anderson shed light on how lucky he has been to remain free from long-term injuries and also opened up on the reception he got from the Lord's crowd at the start of his final Test.

Here's what he told Sky Sports:

"Obviously, this morning was quite emotional with the two teams lined up and the reaction from the crowd was pretty special. Happy that I've been lucky enough to stay injury-free pretty much throughout my career. And yeah, play for England. It's the best job in the world, so I've been privileged to be able to do it for a long time."

Anderson picked up four wickets in his final Test, with wicketkeeper Joshua da Silva being his final Test wicket.
